Holidays...

Holidays have a way of bring the "flu" around to just about everyone. I have been so careful to keep up on my vitamins and get the flu shot and lysol wipe my desk at work everyday and wash my hands and all the "precautions" we are told to do so that we don't spread the germs. And here it is one day before we are supposed to leave for Oklahoma and I come down with laryngitis and bronchitis. I can't talk, and when I can talk, I am coughing my head off. I'm trying to finish up school projects and pack and get all the last minute arrangements made for all the animals, but all I really want to do is get in bed with a bottle of cough syrup and a box of tissues and sleep through Thanksgiving. Thank goodness I have an awesome manager who sent me home the minute that she heard my voice, or lack of voice, so I don't have work to worry about for a week. Now that I have vented about my woes of life, I really am excited to eat lots of food for Thanksgiving. And see my family that I haven't seen for a few months at least and some of them a while longer than that. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Halloween stuff...

I know that this is a few days late, but better late than never. We went to Frightmares at Lagoon on Halloween night and had a blast. We invited our friends that live just down the street to go with us. I thought that it was going to be freezing so we packed sweaters, gloves, coats, and scarves but it really wasn't that bad. We ended up just wearing our sweatshirts.

The lines were not long at all, so we rode every ride at least twice. Guy and Shannon wouldn't ride the Wild Mouse with me and Jamie so we rode it by ourselves.

We couldn't pass up getting cotton candy. And we were pretending to be "Lady and the Tramp", but with cotton candy.

This is what Guy dressed up for Halloween as. I didn't get a picture of my shirt close up, but that was my whole costume. It was a glow in the dark picture of a skeleton walking a skeleton weiner dog. It was so cute.
