Three things we did this summer...
At the beginning of the summer, we went for a drive up the canyon looking for anything cool.
Guy spotted an area that kind of looked like a mine, so we got out and hiked up to it. From the bottom of the hill, it didn't look like a very far hike, but once we got started, it was a very huge and steep hill. But we kept hiking and what did we find??? A really cool old mine. We were too nervous to go inside, but there was very cold air coming out of it, so we took pics and rested. Guy was hunting around more and found the real entrance above us with a really cool wooden door. We kept hiking around and found rocks and even a deer shed. It was a very fun day.
Western Underground came to town to put on a show, so we bought tickets and went to the concert. It was a great concert, and we stuck around so long afterwards waiting in line to get an autograph that we got to take a picture with the band as well. I got my purse signed by all of them.
My dad invited us to help push cows off the mountain up Salina canyon. Guy didn't want to go, so I drug my friend Jamie along with me. We rode all day long and the weather was mostly good. It sprinkled on us a little bit, but we're tough. Lots of cows, lots of riding, and lots of food when it was over.

Emergency Room...
I know that most of you don't care to see these pics, but Guy wanted me to post them. He was at work and a pry bar hit him in the head to cause this nice gash above his eye. Just so conveniently, I was at work at the hospital when this happened so I didn't have to go far to to visit him. He had to get 10 stitches, which left quite a scar.
Hiking...
A few weekends ago when the weather was warm, we went for a ride up to the reservoir a few minutes from our house. The dogs were having fun and hunting for whatever they could find. Jetta tried to get Spike to swim in the river, but as you can see in the pic, he just wanted to get as far from the water as possible. The water was icy cold.
As I said earlier, the dogs were hunting everywhere along the way...and I mean everywhere. Dallie was up on the hillside going crazy and decided to come back down. She didn't come down the way that she went up...she got a little close to the edge and decided to jump. It ended up being a little bit farther than she anticipated. I can't believe that Guy actually caught the jump mid-air.

Dog Treat Thief...
I bought the dogs some treats and gave them each one when I got home. I set the rest on the table and was just hanging out with Guy watching some tv. Dallie finished hers and decided that she wanted another...So she helped herself over and over again. We thought it was so funny and cute that we couldn't tell her no. Spike couldn't figure out how Dallie was getting the treats so he kept following her around and looking on the table to see where the treats were. He wasn't smart enough to jump on the table like her...watch the videos and see what happens.

Horse Expo...
Me and my friend Jamie have been waiting for weeks to go to the Horse Expo in SLC. We printed off the schedule and planned out our day and decided to drag our husbands along with us...if only for their money. The day finally came to leave and we set off. Well...I have to say that it was mostly a disappointment. We paid 8 bucks each to get in and only stayed long enough to look at all the vendor diplays. I bought a really cute cowgirl wallet and we talked Guy into snapping our pic by the huge boots at the entrance. It snowed pretty much the whole day, but since we were highly disappointed in the main event, we made Shannon stop off at almost every western store between SLC and Logan. It was fun and we bought lots of goods. And we topped the day off with eating at Guy's current favorite restaurant...Goodwood BBQ.

More pics of Oklahoma...
Spike was so tired of being in the car.
Falisha had the Mario Kart game on Wii...we played it a bunch.
Trip to Oklahoma...
We drove through all of these states and on this trip I wanted to get a pic of all of the state signs to show where we were. Guy didn't want to stop for most of them, so I had to take them at 65 mphs hanging out the window. I do have to say that I caught most of them pretty good.
If you think about what states are here, you are probably wondering why there are so many...well, Guy never wants to drive the same way twice, so we had to basically make a loop on our trip. On the way out, we left Utah, drove through Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, and into Oklahoma. Then on the way back we left Oklahoma, drove through Kansas, Colorado, and then into Utah.
We stopped a bunch of places to sight see cause that is what we do best...see alot of stuff and drive a bunch of miles. It took about 21 hours to drive to Falisha's place even with all our stopping. We made it in just under a day...we left at about 1 am and arrived at 8 or 9 pm that night. It was a little wild cause we saw the sun rise and set and still had to drive more miles.

I like road trips, but next time I think we will fly because it seems like the road trip never ends and them you have to turn around and make it back home.
We took the two little dogs with us and they were so good on the way out, but on the way back they knew it was going to be a long drive. They were up and down and all around the car. I was so ready to get them home and have a break. We ended up getting a hotel in Colorado so that the dogs could have a break from the car and I could have a break from them. We took them to a Petsmart doggie run and let them play for a few hours. It was a good break...

New Semester...
Well the spring semester is in full swing and I have so much homework to get done. That's school for ya though. I am taking a leadership class this semester, which I am enjoying so much, and we had to take a personality test. I posted the results up at the top of my page, so check them out and let me know what you think. We have to take the test again in one week, so I will be posting those results up soon. It doesn't tell you what the letters stand for, so I will tell you. E is for extroverted, S is for sensing, F is for feeling, and J is for judging.
